Following the incredible success of our ACSE 2026 Spring conference—where we brought together over 50 passionate educators—we are thrilled to announce that the ACSE Fall 2026 Conference is now accepting proposals.

 

We are headed back to St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School in Maple, ON, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, for another day of collaboration, resource sharing, and professional growth.

To make this day a success, we need your expertise. Whether you have a tried-and-true classroom project, an innovative pedagogical strategy, or insights into emerging industry trends, we invite you to share them with your peers.

Key Details & Focus Areas

We are looking for workshop sessions (1 hour or 2 hours) tailored to Computer Science and Technological Education teachers (Including TAS) in Ontario. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

• AI, Computer Science & Software Engineering: Navigating AI tools effectively and ethically in the CS classroom, teaching the fundamentals of neural networks and other AI models

• Physical Computing & Engineering: Robotics, electronics, and hands-on design projects.

• Specialized CS Pathways: Game Development, CyberSecurity, and Data Analytics.

• Pedagogical Strategies: Inclusive course design, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and creative instructional frameworks.

We will be accepting proposals throughout the summer and pulling together a tentative schedule in September.
